SEA ~ KNOWING THE BOSS
We believe that the most important part of any business are the people who work in it and that to understand the true motives of the business you need to know who the owners are and what they stand for. Actions speak louder than mere words and in order to keep you familiar with the Company and what we do and why you should join us as a supporter either by applying to join us, to finance or sponsor us, or provide other opportunities then you should know who you are supporting and what moves them.

In order to help you with this we have included My Africa Story a personal account of the first practical actions undertaken by Jon Proctor (The Boss). Further accounts from the staff and the work we are doing will follow. The best way to keep updated with the work we do and learn more is to join the Green Tourism Business Scheme as a tourism business or as a FROG (friend of green tourism).

Jon Proctors project history started with an expedition across Africa, then went on to be a voluntary ranger and employment trainee for Stockport Borough Council. After volunteering to help run the European Local Environmental Information Clearinghouse (the first internet based green information service in 1990), FoE Manchester we helped them set up the Greater Manchester Environmental Network (too far ahead of its time). From this we went on to work for SEA Ltd in Shetland and then onto Perth in Scotland. Like so many others this is a journey of tough love and we have met hero’s throughout the trail/trial.
